Reglin Soft FRAS Skirting rubber is a Neoprene rubber specially formulated to be Fire-Resistant and Anti-Static (FRAS). It is designed to be used as a sealing strip on conveyor systems or similar applications where ignition points are a safety issue such as underground coal mines, construction tunnels, fertiliser plants etc.
Reglin Soft FRAS Skirting has excellent tensile and elongation properties. It is considerably more flexible than
standard FRAS skirting rubber and also displays superior wear characteristics. These factors result in reducing the
coefficient of friction between the skirting rubber and conveyor belt, reducing drag on the conveyor system and
greatly prolonging the life of the skirting itself.
Soft FRAS Skirting is available in full width slabs or pre-cut skirting rubber strips to suit standard conveyor system
designs.
