The Firestone EPDM Geomembrane is an elastomeric membrane with a good combination of high elasticity and tensile strength.
It is suitable for applications such as decorative ponds, water features, irrigation ponds and canals, dams, fire reservoirs, wastewater lagoons, landfill covers, animal waste containment.
It is water-resistant and temperature stable from -45ºC to 130ºC, retaining its elasticity at low temperatures and resisting temperature shocks of up to 250ºC.
EPDM Geomembranes display excellent resistance to alkali rains, but are less resistant to oil products. Contact with some kind of oils, petroleum products, hot bitumen and grease must be avoided.
They have excellent resistance to U.V. radiation and ozone concentration.
