Butyline lining rubber is a bromo-butyl based rubber specifically designed to display excellent heat resistance as well as a very good resistance to corrosive acids and alkalis. It also displays excellent UV and ozone resistance with a low permeability to compressed gasses.
Butyline is manufactured with a Neoprene bonding layer for easy bonding to steel surfaces. This layer requires no buffing and can be used with many 2-part Neoprene based lining glues.
|
APPLICATIONS
Butyline can be used in a variety of different corrosion protection applications including; pipes, tanks, chutes, valve and pump linings.
